First I want to inform you that all campuses will conduct in-person programming tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Within our community case counts are trending down, and more importantly within our student body the concerns are the lowest risk we have seen since August. We continue to see no evidence of transmission within school programming. The conditions support us making it to Thanksgiving Break, and we will monitor every case to determine if risks increase for anyone.
Thank you to each of the families that participated in quarantining as requested. It is one of our key strategies to return to in-person instruction as quickly as possible. In the summer we theorized that some sort of hybrid solution might help us get back to in-person as quickly as possible, but it is clear that quarantining and a pause to in-person instruction is the fastest way back to what we all desire. In each situation we will pause for the time necessary to evaluate the case scenario to determine the least amount of quarantining as possible.
This will not last forever. We have to take one step at a time. Let’s take the next steps together. Thank you.
Additionally- Solvista Health is thrilled to be a new member of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Colorado Spirit Program to provide free COVID-19 counseling and support to our local communities. For additional information please see their press release.
